Eileen Mary Theresa Daly is an English award winning actress of theater, television and film. She is widely regarded as one of the most interesting actress of this generation, she was trained by Fenella Fielding.
Eileen grew up in a village on the outskirts of London, the daughter of Mary Jean Daly, who brought the family up with her brother Dominique. Eileen’s grandfather was the great Nipper Pat Daly, boxing world champion. Her father was shot when Eileen was 5 years old in a gangland killing. In her early years Eileen used to put on shows on for her family and often sang in youth club shows.
Eileen made her professional debut in the Tainted Love video for Marc Almond's Soft Cell, when she was 16. Since then she has donned over 25 feature films and numerous TV shows for a variety of channels including BBC, Channel 4 and ITV in both leading and supporting roles. She has worked with the likes of Christopher Walken, Malcolm Mcdowell, Siouxsie Sioux, Doug Bradley and many more.
Eileen was critically acclaimed for her role in Razor Blade Smile. One director said of Eileen: "She is tireless in her performance, it's extraordinary to the extent that she obsesses to get the role right. She is marvelous to work with and a joy to be around. Her easy going nature is infectious."
Also a script-writer, producer and director herself, she co-owns a production company called Eileen Daly Productions, bringing to the screen Ghost hunting shows and comedy/horror films.
