Filmed in Finland and directed by Sami Haavisto The Curse Of The Witches Blood is a period horror film borrowing heavily from the look of Hammer Films but with lashings of modern gore effects. The plot involves hauntings and vampires. Filmed on a low budget care was taken filming around old buildings and museums to give the film a period feel and the production even extended to horses and carriages for an authentic feel which the director says was worth every euro.
