In their lyrics they investigate London life, ancient and modern, in “Amen Court” and “Peckham Rolex”, the relentless existence of an ageing stripper in “Mazeltof”, and the misdiagnosed hypochondriac in “The Prognosis Is Not Good”. In “Doll”, “The Stickleback’s Song” and “Cupboard” childhood memories mingle with fantasy conjuring up an eerily beautiful yet menacing world.

2009 has seen the band cutting its teeth on the gruelling London circuit - not for the faint-hearted - and have performed as far afield as the Roman amphitheatre of Cassino in Italy. Venues played in London include The 12 Bar, Barden’s Boudoir, The George Tavern, The Comedy Pub and Tommy Flynn’s.

In July the band recorded their first EP - “Elfin Around” which they launched on December 1st at The 12 Bar in Soho. The songs on the EP are “Mazeltof”, “Peckham Rolex” and “Doll” and they have made a video for each of them directed/edited by Jack Doyle and James Brady.
